Get That Style... Emma Watson

EMMA Watson has publicly transformed from child star to worldwide fashion icon in a matter of years.

Since finishing (and also towards the end of) the Harry Potter series, Emma Watson has designed her own ranges for fair trade brand People Tree, advertised for Burberry, been an ambassadress for Lancome and featured on many cover pages including Vogue, Elle and Harper's Bazaar.

Several months after the controversial transformation of her hair from long flowing locks to a short elfin crop, Emma collected the 'Style Icon' award at the highly prestigious Elle Fashion Awards 2011. By then, Emma was already well on her way to become somewhat of a leader in the fashion world.

Emma's style is usually sleek and sophisticated; she often accessorises simply, and much prefers a natural look over a heavily made-up appearance, despite admitting to her 'obsession' with lipstick. However, she does occasionally choose to opt for something a bit more 'stand out from the crowd'.

If Emma's style is something which you envy, here are a few of her outfits replicated at high street prices. Just try to resist the temptation of rushing out and buying them all. I know I've been left wrestling my inner Emma...

Emma dressed head to toe in Miu Miu for the Struck by Lightning premier, last month (left), wearing a dainty flower print skirt and blouse together with a black leather jacket and some blue peep toes. She accessorised with a baby pink clutch. The outfit which she wore to the GQ Men of the Year Awards 2011 (right) couldn't have been much different (except a similar black leather jacket). Here, she paired a tartan print McQueen dress with Louboutin studded heels, to create the ultimate rock chick look. To recreate these looks:

She pulls off the casual look perfectly.
